Some p505 information
Posted: Feb 9, 2005 @ 5:57amDon't get me wrong, the phone looks great. My two issues with it:
1. Windows Mobile 2005 will be out (aka Magneto) sometime this year and appears to be more of a major update than 2003SE. Updating a device like this is not likely since it has software unique to the phone itself due to the flip down numeric keypad, it would not just be a generic update. It always sucks to pay $600 or more and have an older OS etc. Not a killer for everyone though I am sure.
2. The major problem I see is that unless it has 850 MHz GSM for North America it would be a waste unless you happen to be with T-Mobile. The manual says 900/1800/1900MHz GSM but I realize this probably for an Asian/international model.
