You probably need to install a decent MP3 codec. Either find one individually or install something like <a href="http://www.k-litecodecpack.com/">this</a> which will contain loads of cocecs. That
should fix the problem. If not you'll have to say which software you're trying to use, etc. (Oh and somewhere like <a href="http://www.doom9.org">doom9</a> is probably going to offer you better support than a Pocket PC multimedia forum).
