Due to a rather large, offensive spam attack, I've temporarily disabled Guest posting in this forum, the General Pocket PC Discussion. Feel free to register if you have a question, it's quick and easy, and all that jazz.

Hopefully some sort of system to stop spam can be put in place soon.

Something that should have been done a long time ago...... IF you want to ask a question, why would you really mind registering? This is a community and you don't just walk off the street and set up shop. You don't have to give personal information, but you can't lurk in the shadows and be a coward...

I was wondering, isn't it a good idea to make that 'picture verification' thingie active for guest posting? So that a guest has to enter a random code, visible in a messy way on an image, before submitting? At least it's a pretty good way to block of automatic posters...

Over at PDAi.org spammers actually register before posting .
