Alife on the PDA?

What kind of artificial life software is available for the Pocket PC? (Or Palm?)

I know there are one or two virtual pet games. But what about something more complex, like the Creatures series?

I'm thinking of the sort of software that has things like genetic algorithms, neural networks, swarm intelligence, etc. Something beyond the simple Tamagotchi type of software.

The Game of Life is interesting and important but I was looking for something more sophisticated. Something along these lines:

Back in university I made a simple model inspired by David Ackley's AL world, with simple agents eating plants and avoiding predators, using a neural network, learning as they go, reproducing with genetic algorithms.

Matt do you have a link for AliCE? I can't find it.

If only academics, governments, or rich patrons would pay me to sit at home making this sort of software myself, I'd be thrilled, that's why I got into computers in the first place.

Oh well, back to reality... :)
