Hello Everybody,

I finally put together a first PocketPC version of my FT2 clone called MilkyTracker:

It's still very early stage and it still lacks a fully functional onscreen
keyboard but you can already make songs with the piano and the hexadecimal buttons ;)

Basically I'd like to know if you're having problems on your device and how small the buffer size can be on your device without stuttering.

Get it here:

Edit:
For those of you interested in my Tracker keep looking at

for further updates.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Cheers,
Peter

It's a very interesting program. I tried it yesterday and I wrote a small song, using the virtual keyboard, which is very cool. But the screen of a PocketPC is very small, so there are many informations and buttons on the screen...Perhaps you could use tabs (like PhoenisStudio).
Keep the good work, sure I'll use this software to compose MOD songs ! I just have to find some instruments to import in your soft.

@Guizmox:
For an instrument archive you may check out

@inteks:
What do you mean by "you have problems loading songs"?
Please note that old PocketPCs show only files inside the "My Documents" folder and direct subfolders (not any deeper).
But if I have time I might add my own file open dialog.
I will try to add a "live-record" option too if you like.

Feel free to send me all your songs, I really like to present something on my website.

It looks very nice.

Unfortunately, I cannot get it to load any xm files at all. It freezes when i tap on the load button.
