The HP is an awesome device, but I think it's only available in the UK. I plan to get one as soon as I can get enough money to have one shipped here, it's built-in got GPS, GSM/GPRS/EDGE cell service, and Bluetooth.

I plan to get the one without the camera, as camera phones aren't allowed in some places nowadays, like the gym I go to, and I hate people staring at me when I use a cameraphone/camera-pda, as they think I'm trying to take their picture.

The main problem with the 6500 series is that damn square display. QVGA is bad enough, but 240x240 is nearing useless. That's not much bigger than my mpx200.

Where did you see the 6500 has a built in GPS? Or do you mean e911 support using triangulation?

I guess the motorola mpx220 seems to be the closest to what I want.

Is web surfing decent with it? can you visit regular sites and mobile ones? (my T616 is limited to mobile mostly text sites and I want more)

can you open picture attachments in email on the phone?

any help from the experts here will be greatly appreciated!

Well today I head down to check out Cingular and the Motorola MPx220. I look around and cant find one. So when I get to talk with a salesgirl she tells me they have been pulled from the product line due to "problems" with the phones. 8O

Helpful that she was, she pointed me to the smart phones availible, but the camera is only VGA. She expects a new product line within 2-4 months, so I guess I'll hang in there.

What bums me out the most is I found a forum discussing there was a bios upgrade that cured the problems (as reported by users of the phone).

Oh well more time to plan and dream.
