Well, he does have a full-time job and a family. It's hard to go to work, work on a computer for 9-10 hours, and then come home and crank out some more code. It also looks like he's in VA, a place where 1+ hour commutes to work aren't rare. That only leaves 4-6 hours for personal projects, and at least half of that is going to be consumed by familial obligations.
