It's Korean for one. Secondly, it's a follow up to their GP2X device which while not big here, was moderately successful in Korea due to it's many RPGs. It has a decent homebrew community in NA, and Dan East's PocketQuake has been ported to the 2x and the GP32 IIRC.

The company split in two, one does the GP2x media player device mentioned above, and the other does the more advanced game handhelds I mentioned.
