how can i use the pocket pc(EM-500)and a phone(nokia 8210)to get on to the internet??

You cant, unless there is a serial connection cable.  the em-500 haas no CF (CompactFlash) slot, but a MMC(MultiMediaCard) slot.  So far, all that a MMC slot is compatible with is memory, but who knows, soon we may have a MMC Modem card!

Yes you can. As long as both the phone and your device have IRDA ports. You can download software for your Casio at nokia's website, somewhere. You also need one of the data service provides, like Bell or possibly PCS.

But I dont think the 8120 has an IR port

No it doesn't. But it's possible with other nokia phones.

If the EM-500 has an IRDA port it can connect to the internet. I use an 8210 with a iPAQ 3630 and it works like a charm. Just make a connection using default IRDA modem and voila, you're online :)
