Microsoft Corp. [NYSE:MSFT] and Hewlett-Packard Co. [NYSE:HWP] have agreed to stop representing that their handheld wireless devices come with built-in Internet access and e-mail, when in fact they require the purchase of a separate modem to provide online connectivity. Read more

This is dumb.  The whole argument is over the fine print at the end of the commercials/advertisements, who doesn't have those?  If anything they should have sued compaq as well.. after seeing some of the ipaq commercials

i've never seen any of these commerical's but i'm pretty sure that if i look at my casio there are no antennas hangin off, that would tell me my shit can go online

It has "Built in Email and Internet", but not "Internet Access." Just get rid of one word, Microsoft, and it's all good.

Exactly. You can't use a computer without a monitor, it shouldn't even be called a computer. A Computer is the full system.

Just because some fool can't read on the side of the box that it DOES NOT include a modem doesn't mean MS should be punished.<br><br>HP that's a different story.
