Iomega announces PocketZip compatibility with Ipaq

http://www.iomega.com/ipaq/index.html<br><br>.. only problem is that I bought the clik drive along with a single slot PCMCIA sleeve. <br><br>can someone describe the differences between typeII and typeIII PCMCIA cards for me?  .. will it be possible for my single slot to read the drive somehow? <br><br>

I believe the difference is in the Rails which guides the card in the slot. There might also be a slight thickness difference similar to CF1 and CF2.<br><br>

That is actually what I initially believed... But if that were the case, then the card shouldnt fit my exp. slot... but it does, and very well at that too... <br><br>I have just flipped through my pocketZIp information papers and it says that its a typeII card... <br><br>anybody have an idea how I can get the thing to work?<br>

Well, a PC sleeve is type1 and 2, and the dual sleeve is type2 and 3.<br><br>I *know* the Rails are part of the difference between the two types.<br><br>Check Iomega's site, there have been quite a few posts lately regarding some new Iomega drivers out. You could be in luck.<br><br>
