Okay, as we all know, Pocket IExplorer doesn't support animated GIFs. Is that fixed with the patch (I mean the service pack) or is there a little app to view GIFs? Don't want to convert every GIF to WMV...

Try it out, the tutorials are all flash-driven i.e. you can watch them :)

I don't think I could have learned flash in any other manner on my own.

Download the demo and have a go, the tutorial is packaged with it.

Once you understand it, you can just import a gif, and save it out as an swf to make it animate in PIE.
Shapeshifter, yeah, give Flash a try. It took me a while to learn, but the reward is itself. Creating those cool looking websites and stuff is cool. Right now I'm learning to use Director 8. A little bit more hardcore of Flash. Just wanna make those cool looking exe files that play some kind of multimedia.
