I broke my E-115 by dropping it and claimed it off my insurance! In place of it i got a Jornada 720! Although it is way better than my other1 it is worth 2 much to keep it so i am trying to sell it. any1 interested? you can't get it less than 630 quid brand new anywhere on the internet (I used 1 of them price comparers). Anyway Give me an offer and i'll see. If ur worried about me knicking off with ya money sign up 4 escrow (i'll tell ya a bit more if u want it)
thanx

I can do it, HONEST! Just give me a chance. We don't need Dan any more. ~ You all have me now! ~
But I'd buy this thing if he is willing to give it to me for, oh say $5.

I'd have to say that it's twice as good as a normal PocketPC. That thing has a keyboard built in, plus the 206MHz ARM processor like iPaq's. All it needs is a little bit more game support. That GB emu guy should release his gaming routines so we can all enjoy our favorite games on the faster, better H/PCs.
Oh ya, it also has a graphics accelerator inside too, plus PCMCIA ports and a built in modem. It's everythign I want from a mobile computer. TOo bad their $1000 dollars and I'd rather buy a $1300 laptop from Dell/Gateway/MicronPC. I want to build my own laptop, but no one sells the components!Last modification: Moose Master - 06/14/01 at 14:04:34

There isn't a standard form factor for laptops, which is why you can't "build your own". Sure Dell and Gateway will customize, but you are stuck with the hardware they choose to offer.

Laptops really need to get their shit together like the desktop PCs did, offereing the AT and ATX form.

I WOULDN'T trade my PocketPC for the HP720. Unless they threw in an extra $400.

I'd trade my Casio E-125, but only if I got a little extra dough too. They don't have as many programs, so that's a con. The pro is that they are PERFECT for complete internet access and word processing anywhere. Very appealing.

Well, I have a 720 and I love it for the keyboard, built-in modem and pcmcia slot... the one serious drawback is that it doesn't have the EMU/Game support :( that everyone keeps bugging you about. ok, I'm one of them.

Every machine has its drawbacks... this one is no exception. you can always check the popularity by starting a new thread with "Jornada 720 users click here"... I'm sure it will be visited quite a bit.
