Well, Chick. I have a good comment and a not-so good.
Good = I like it. I've been wondering which of the two were any good. So that solves my question there for which I've been searching in forums extensively.

Bad = Not much to say here other than the fact you use a lot of run-on or majorly complex sentences. Kinda have to reread a sentence or two to make sense of it. Should split them up more. Oh yeah..maybe a screenshot or two in action. Nah..u can see them at their respective websites.

Overall = Cheers.

sorry, bout the run-on's i'm not too good at writing well. If you want you could umm, edit it for me. :) and I couldn't find any good screens of the games in action, but whats the point. They are just the games you want. I mean blah, u know what its gonna look like. Sonic still looks like sonic. :/

CHick:

I ain't gonna waste my 999th post on this, but there is a considerable speed difference between the two emulators, like Night and Day infact. Perhaps it's not as noticable on the Casio as it is on the iPAQ.

Now, I have to question your statement that the Emulation speed is faster on ce/GG than it is for PocketGB/SMS. If this is so, then how is PocketGB smoother? Wouldn't that require fast emulation to process all the frames of animation and refresh your screen at a reasonable rate?

Secondly, your gripes about the interface still lack a good foundation. You pose the question as to why couldn't it have been done with a pulldown menu. Yet in your screenshot, it clearly shows a tabbed interface is required because of the amount of tweaks one can accomplish. If you're cozy with pulldowns 100 words long, then it's reassuring to know you're not in the business of making interfaces ;)

Still, nice writeup none-the-less, and sorry to bust your balls, but 6 years of reading editorial as I lay it out has made me that troll under the bridge that editors hate ;)

btw-
I'll be back when the new Site is done, at which point, my 999th post will ring in the relaunch.

999
uhhh.. 999, i'm talking about the options menu when you first pull it up, u know the one where you decide wether you would like to go to "general options, Gameboy Options, etc.) its a full screen, with one textbox and four options, i think that could be a pull down menu. And if you haven't noticed the INCREDIBLY FASTER SPEED of Ce/gg's sound and animation then you are deaf and blind. Just play the same game, for instance, play Sonic Spinball, in CE/GG the sound and animation is 10 times faster. You can not deny that. THe only reason Pocket GB is smoother, is because its SLOWER!! ITS SLOW AS MY grandmother. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

So are you going to be a guest until the launch, or are you going to register that name, 999?

I'm sticking by PocketGB, since I bought it eons ago it has served me well. It runs games nice-n-smooth, unless I try to run them fullscreen with anti-aliasing on.

Besides, I like the idea of having multiple platforms available in a single emulator.
