you know that sound in US marshalls where the airplane is sliding over the guard rail on the road?.. it's sort of a squeeky sound.. much like that of bad brakes on a car, except different..<br><br>anyways.... my microdrive is making that sound ... time to call ibm

ok.. it's actually making a different sound... you know in like old dos games.. where there are only like 16 different sound tones?.. well you know what a bomb sounds like when it's dropping?... that's what it the microdrive sounds like.

is it still working? if it is still working youre lucky.... if not, i feel you pain, twice actually.  ibm most likely wont do jack unless you bought it directly from them.  most likely youll have to cal the OEM that you got it from. good luck

heh ... i bought this OEM from IBM so... horray! ...<br><br>microdrive isn't working...
