I've got $700, more then enough to buy any Pocket PC currently availible.. But my question is, which one should I get? They all have thier pros and cons, and they're all pretty much equal in my eyes.. So I leave this to you guys.

Casiopeia E-125, which is a 150MHz MIPS with 32MB RAM and a 16bit screen, doesn't suffer from the multi-button problem.

Casiopeia EM500, which is a 150MHz MIPS with 16MB RAM, and a 16bit screen.

Compaq iPaq, which is a 206MHz ARM, with 32MB RAM and a 12bit screen, and suffers from the multibutton problem..

UR There Amigo 600c, which is a 206MHz ARM, with 32MB RAM, 16bit screen, suffers from the multibutton problem, but has a PC Card slot built in..

There are more pros/cons for each of these, I just listed the basics.. But in your opinions, which one is the best for gaming, and playing MP3's?

@migo 600C is the best of all if money is no problem.
The second best is the Casio E-125 because of it's lack of problems and good speed.
Then is the iPaq (any model, even 64MB version) because of it's plethora of problems.
The EM series of Casios is useless, it has no RAM and is barely expandable

THere is no doubt that the @migo is the best. The only real war is between Casio and iPaq for second. (that is, if you can get an Amigo now. they've fixed their shipping problems, right? Oh wiat, they have I remember.)

Yes, they fixed their shipping problems. I am currently fine tuning my review of the unit so it will be up very soon. And the multibutton issue is not so bad as brighthand said it was, I suggest you wait for my review.

Yeah, the multi-button issue is not as bad as that damien iPaq i sent back a long time ago. I was playing Mike Tyson's Punchout on the @migo 600c yesterday and i could tell the controls were not as good as the Casio. Like in Mario, ...you can still run AND jump at the same time. U just could not run, jump AND shoot a fireball unless you let go of the jump button.
But I must say, using Jimmy's overclock utility and then PocketTV allows for some pretty nice viewing.

Isn't it just starting to be released to the public in Japan though or in a few months maybe? That could mean a while here.

Yeah, the @migo is by far the best. It combines the best of the Casio e-125 (64K color screen) with the best of the iPAQ (StrongARM processor, sidelight) and has a built-in PCMCIA slot.

There is an article in the latest Pocket PC magazine about the @migo- find it at your local bookstore, or go to their website(
www.pocketpcmag.com)

All the PocketPCs can play MP3's without a hiccup, so that really isn't an issue with any of them. Things like video and games tend to be more CPU intensive.

i still like the casio designs though, and the new one is basically (to me anyway) a better looking amigo - and no button problems.

JJB is correct about the button issue, it is sort of inbetween the ipaq and casio buttons, more towards the casio though if you consider layout too. I am just finishing some benchmarks, and will be releasing the review soon.

fuck ya, those Cybiko thingys are cool. You can talk to the other people in your office building hehehehe. Nah really get a e-125 on sale for like 400 then, spend 300 and buy a microdrive, or a really big cf card from pricewatch.com
