So could my Casio. I'll solder on some DDR SDRAM onto the board if someone wants to buy me a nice small iron to do it with, and some RAM chips.

i have to give it to them, thats pretty awsome, but the problem is thats way  to much money. I'm sorry, but they are raping you. 349 dollars for a chip that costs roughly 20 bux and a driver they made. I don't believe thats that great of a deal. I can just as easily plop down the money for a dual pc sleeve and run a pc card hardrive for half about the same price

And don't forget you have to be quick to get the upgrde, because the chip is tough to get (or so they say). Anyway, 349,00 is to much.

Unless you want to store more than 6 MP3s and some other multimedia or games.

But still, a 128MB CF card is a lot cheaper. 349,00 is more then half the price of an 3670.

And the IBM 1GB MicroDrive costs $350 now-a-days.

or buy a 384mb flash card for like $300.

Ya, that's more economically viable than a 1GB MicroDrive for $350~~

easier on battery.. and more durable.. my 1gb microdrive just died on me.

Why can't a micro-drive be outfitted with a rechargeble battery?

No offense intended, but how do you think it COULD be fitted with a battery of it's own?
