I will definatly buy either a compaq iPaq H3600 or Casio E-125.

Casio is bulkier than iPaq and a bit slower but it does have excellent screen with excellent sound. The main reason Casio looks much more attractive is the price. It is 600 Canadian while Compaq iPaq is 700. To that 700 you need to add expansion sleeve that adds to 800-900. As you can see iPaq is a lot more expensive. It has faster CPU, great look, upgradable rom... but is all that worth the extra price?

btw does can Casio also use one of those foldable keyboards?

Please tell me what you think...

The @migo () is the best, and cheapest at only $500 US (comparable to Casio). It's got a PC Card type 2 expansion and a good screen and buttons. That's what I'd get. Second would be a Casio because the iPaq has too many problems.

Tough decision. Here you'll hear a lot of "iPAQ is crap" because it's fragile, accumulates dust under the screen, needs a jacket, etc, etc. I have a 3670 for a week now, and I think it's fine. I bought the 3670 because of the extra memory. Mine is loaded with stuff and I still have room for more, and I don't need to use the jacket yet (as long as storage goes). Before the 3670 I had (have) a Palm V, and the principle complaint I have is the shorter battery life, even when I use the iPAQ only for Notes, Contacts and other basics. I heard the Casio battery life is worse.
Until now, I didn't have any dust problem, and I carry it around in my shirt pocket all day long without any case (couldn't find one yet). The sound is good enough for me, with pratically CD quality. And for speed, is it fast!
Mine already came with the 1.77 ROM, so I never upgraded it (but LOTS of people had problems).
In resume, I think iPAQ is as good as the Casio. I would say better because I don't need to carry the jacket all the time and the battery lasts longer. But...the "silver metal" problem. If it's too expensive (and you're sure you'll use the jacket), go for the Casio. After all, I think they're pretty much equivalent.

Yes, you can't press more then one button simultaneously. I don't bother, because I use it mostly for work. But if you intend it to be a game machine, that could be an issue. I've read also that for games the iPAQ is better platform then the Casio. As I said, I'm no "gamemaniac", so maybe someone else can have more information on this. Guys?

I don't know anything about the @migo. It LOOKS cool, so that's gotta count for something. That card slot is nice as well.

I've got a 3635 iPAQ that's made me happier than a puppy with two peeters. Battery life, especially when using the speaker, is marginal - at best. But hey, it's got a pretty silver case (with black jacket if you've got the expansion sleeve)! I've had no problems with dust, nor have I noticed a serious loss of functionality on account of button issues (I understand that a virtual joystick is being used, on screen, to compensate for that in most games..?).

I guess for me, the question would be: "Which one is going to have the most accessories, and the greatest availability therein?" I'm betting that right now, the answer (between iPAQ and Casio) is iPAQ.

Now - let the beratings begin.
