AOL only supports email for PocketPCs. Just about any other ISP should work well enough, though. Try Earthlink, AT&T Worldnet, anyone really...

BTW, I have AOL, and I have tried to use their program for ppc. To me it seems that you can't sync e-mail over, you have to have a modem for your ppc.

Am I right? I can't sync my AOL mail over?

Does AOL provide you with POP3 access to your email?

Dan East

Please don't fall into the trap; don't believe that AOL is actually an ISP. I think the Village Ideot is right - any ISP other than AOL is a better decision. If you're stumped, and insist on using dialup (ugh), check out www.thelist.com . It has a fairly comprehensive list of ISP's.

If you're looking for things to start doing on your new PocketPC, I would suggest checking out a few appearance tools: www.snoopsoft.com , and others. www.pocketpc.com has a ton of software links that will give you ideas of what can be done.

I hope this helps. If it doesn't help, I hope you remain free of indigestion.

Heh. Well, it's that whole "You spend 40 hours at school per week" thing that's really putting a dampener on my employment options. :)

But case art is on the up and up lately...you could be on to something.

Actually, I have seen a couple custom cases that were worthy of being in a car show, they were so damn beautiful.

case art is fun, when i redo my case i'll up some pictures of it. I'm gonna be adding a blow hole, and probably to more mounted fans on the side.

dood, add some candy apple red paint and some flames and you'd have the shit.

I saw one that had a plexiglass porthole in the side. The inside of the case was illuminated with blue neon. That was something to be proud of.

I wonder if there is a market for something like that. Dood comes into your house and pinstripes your case and monitor...

My idea of case art is a case that can't be seen. Like one hidden away under the desk.

Hey, I just had a cool idea. Take an old mini-tower case, and make it into a mail box! That would draw some attention. I wonder if that's ever been done?

Dan East

that would be kind of a cool way to hide an ugly case.

I don't think there is a single design out there that is appealing- Mac leads the way in absolute UGLY.

Nope. I don't even find it "futuristic". It reminds me of poorly designed Art Deco or Bauhaus.

I LOVE Art Deco and Bauhaus... but not poor renditions.
