I had my ipaq in a case in my pocket<br><br>I fell on it and crushed the screen<br><br>is this covered in the warrenty?<br><br>How much would it cost to have it replaced?

And what were you doing to fell on it? Playing rugby with it in your pocket?<br>Don't think the warranty covers accidents like that (only factory problems).

i just called them...its $125<br><br>If i complained about dust do you think they will replace it for free?<br><br>BUT the one good thing is the cracked screen looks really cool, a big black blop with white things floating in it surrounded by rainbows.

Well, not anymore at least. Sit on an iPAQ...Only him to do something like that.

At least I've never broken any of my PPC's by dropping them. And I dropped them all. I break them by opening them up and snapping things off/out.

My warranty covers a shattered screen. Its up in November. I wonder if I should have Ideot break it for me so I can get a new one, since he is good at it.

Maybe he forgot his pocket protector.

He said "he fell on it". I just imagine the scene.<br>The only racional pocket to carry a PDA would be a shirt pocket (imho)or a jacket pocket. I refuse to consider that somebody (smart) would carry it in his/her pant's back or front pockets (of course I'm ruling out cargo pants). If it was in his shirt's front pocket, he fell on his face. With that kind of "accident" I think he's lucky that the only thing he broke was the iPAQ.
