I think 128 is enough. But why don't you buy the 256 (if you can afford it, of course)?

well if theres a howto saying 'get dvd to 20mb' then i'm sure that'll be enough, but it'll look shit so, as always get the biggest you can afford then try the best quality you can.

But have you looked at the quality? erghhh ughhh ewwww! I want dvd quality.

i would suggest 256mb... you could fit a full screen - full quality divx video in that space... the divx player for Pocket PC has come a long ways, and is almost as good as Pocket TV. It is suprisingly fast.<br><br>The next release of Pocket Divx (projectmayo.com) will be released next week some time (0.6) and will be quite a bit better then the current version.<br><br>WMV sucks... mostly because windows media player sucks..

Well if i were you i wouldn't buy anything smaller than a 512 meg microdrive. For a good quality rip with no pixelation, you need about that much.

You dont. I'm clever, I'm ripping movies and there are no pixels or whatever. The matrix, 224*160, 169 megs, 25 fps, perfect quality!

Go for a 256 if you can.  I have found more than one thing that was just a smidge over 128 so I couldn't fit it on my card...pisses me off.<br><br>BTW, is there anything anyone has on a RELIABLE method of ripping DVD to some PPC format?  I have like 200 DVDs and I'd like to start rippin' them.  Since I have my entire CD collection already ripped...

Okay, use CLAD DVD to rip them, FLASK MPEG to encode them to DivX and TMPGENC to encode to MPEG1. That works fucking great!
