I forgot to say that what I read was about using the iPAQ. Maybe with others PPC's it will work better.

I'm using an ipaq3650 and have a sony TV, it didn't work to well. Sometimes it would turn on, sometimes it wouldn't respond. And I was real close too.

Wow, it supports a whole 30-some devices, out of what, 50,000? The only device on the robust list I happen to own is a Sony Camcorder, which I couldn't get to work with this software. I could verify that my iPaq was sending IR by viewing it with the camcorder, but none of the pulse length settings would allow it to work with my camcorder at any range. Apparently the author has only tested this software with a single device on the list.<br><br>Dan East

To be exact, it supports 38 devices.<br>Even if it did work, the static interface is not user configurable at all. Many useful functions have to be accessed from the second "Shift" set of buttons. You can only access commands for one device at a time, so you can't control the volume of your receiver while changing channels on your DSS (if it supported a DSS of any kind that is).<br><br>Dan East

Actually I've tested it with a Sony TV and it seems working fine. It took some times to find the right pulse lenght, after that it works fine.<br>(and you don't need to stay few inches from the TV!!)
