Has anyone ordered the ipaq upgrade from compaq yet ?

It's only available to North America.

Hmm... Let's say I had the pocket pc 2002 upgrade cd and I upgraded my pocket pc to 2002 and If I used the flash utility to back up the pocket pc 2002 rom, could someone use that rom to re-flash their device? Sure would beat making image files of the cd for users on a slow connection heh heh. Seriously though just wondering if it could be done that way.

Yup, it could. That's how you do the "blue parrot" thing if you fucked up a ROM upgrade and want to go back to the earlier version ROM.

I see I see. I still have that 2.07 pocket pc 2002 rom upgrade and i was bummed that it didn't come with Microsoft Reader 2, but Microsoft has a download for it so I might just install 2002 again. I don't know why though, i don't think there is an image viewer ( or have heard anything about it being removed or updated ) in version 2002. I guess I'd have to buy one of those image viewer programs ( goodbye RAM ! )

Oh by the way, Luciano. I read your tutorial on making a dual stylus. It's cool. I made a stylus out of a yafa pen, ( http://www.yafa.com/cgi-bin/suid/~yafa/ ... 9936.22643 ) This one... It's not a dual stylus but it looks snazzier then the black stylus the ipaq comes with. Thanks.

That tutorial shows the basics, using some inexpensive kind. You can use any pen you want. I'm glad you appreciated it.
