I want to increase my storage capabilities for my iPAQ 3650. From what I've read, I think it'll be cheaper to purchase a Compact Flash sleeve and compact flash cards but I can't really find any online retailer that sells them cheap. Can anyone point out a web site?<br><br>Is this the best way to go using compact flash?

um.. pricewatch.com i think, or something like that.  unless you plan on getting a microdrive, which is also cheap, you should just browse around the web for randaom, sketchy digital camera shops in small towns that dont know what the real value of a microdrive is.....or, if there is a Fry's electronics in your town (and I know there is) they have CF for dirt cheap.

Well if your going to go cf, I would look into buying a Silver Slider instead of the norm, looks like they are only 56 bucks with shipping at www.pdamotion.com, they are on backorder though. I am not sure what kind of things you plan to hold on your CF card, if you are looking for just more room for programs then you will probably be just fine with a 50mb card. But once you start adding mp3's and movies you will need alot more. I find that a 1 hour 45 min movie at high quality usually takes up about 300mb, so if you want to store that you will need quite a large card. I am using a 448mb card, and I find that I usually fill up about 350 mb of it. Hope that help.

Go for the biggest one you can afford (at least 128MB).

The zipUSB250 I have can connect to a computer via PCMCIA, is it possible, or has anyone heard of anyone connecting their pda with the pcmcia zipusb250? -That would be cool.

Clik drives are type III pcmcia which means that you need to have either a @migo, or a dual PCMCIA sleeve for the ipaq. As you might imagine the dual sleeve is just a bit bigger than huge. Aside from that I hear the PocketClik is pretty cool, it doesnt drain the batteries down that much more than flash, definatly alot less than a microdrive. The disk are cheap and I think you can get up to...100mb?
