It's ok. Not a brilliant piece of kit. These are the main things that bug me:

- Phone App takes up WAY to much memory when running.

- Phone App has responsivness of an arthritic tortoise - sometime I have to bash the 'pick up call' button several times before it answers.

- Unit hasn't got enough memory (16mb) and there is no expansion option.

- Pocket Outlook has this bug (design error) where it does an SMTP send BEFORE a POP3 collect, a lot of ISPs expect it the other way around, and hence refuse to work with it. I know that this is a generic PPC problem, but it's annoying none the less.

- Rubber gromits protecting the headphone socket and ext. arial socket fall off and get lost (I've lost 2 sets now)

- Battery Life is very short if online a lot.

On the upside however:

- SMS's are automagically pushed into Pocket Outlooks inbox.

- You can compose SMS's in Pocket Outlook and tap on 'send' for them to be auto sent via the phone app, seamlessly

- Tap and hold on a Contact entry (in Contacts) and select 'Call...' to start a voice call with them.

- With bluekite installed, Pocket IE just flies, none of this juggling a phone AND a PDA.

Jar.
"Is that a PPC in your pocket, or are you just pleased to see me ?"
