Well, since all of us here are PPC enthusiasts, and since the PPC can only hook up to a Windows based machine, I doubt any of us will get to have one of these. But I will say one thing, as Macintosh did with desktops in the day’s pre-PIII / AMD Athlon; I bet this unit will be amazing in its hardware abilities. And I also bet that the big problem will be that no one will want to write programs for these units. Once again Microsoft will rule and all opposition will be crushed. MWHAHAHAHA!!!

It's not a hoax. I've been seeing the commercial for that thing for atleast a month. Atleast I'm pretty sure that's the one in the commercial, since it was a mac computer with a mac pda.

no your thinking of the ipod, thats just a mac 5 gig mp3 player/firewire drive. This one has not yet been announced but mac is planning to announce something big at macworld in san fransisco this coming monday and many people think this is what they are going to announce.

But there will be, what, 3,000 people in the whole of the United States that will use it? Every MAC user that wants a PDA already has a Palm, I believe those hook up to the Mac computers, right? I don't know, it's too early...
