Hey i am having a problem making a DVD into a divx. I got the dvd ripped and made the divx(using almost the same as chris's settings) the divx plays on my computer but pocket divx just crashes when i play it. I have used these settings except i usually use a diffrent res wich was 120x120 this time. So i have a feeling it has something to do with my dvd ripping with flask or something.

standard mp3 audio at 40k i have used all the exact same settings in virtual dub and not had a problem.

weird... were you using 2pass in xmpeg/flask ?

i tried 1 pass and 2 pass, i tried to change like every option possible. It is weird its weird.

This is why people go to Algebra class.

I went to Algebra class once, but it really wasn't my thing, so I never went back.

(new width / old width) * old height = new height

make sure that new height and new width are multiples of 8... if not, letterbox your height up to a multiple of 8... multiples of 16 are even better...
