Battery Life

What PPC/PPC 2k has the best battery life, overall?

I don't just mean like by what a company will say, but like from user experience? like with games and movies and such?

my e115 (oc to 168) really only lasts like 4-5 hours of continual usage (min brightness, cf card)...and i would really like to have more than that.

any tweaks to increase battery life?

just some general ponderings.

from my experience, the @migo PD-600c has great battery life. Of course using things like PC Cards, the speaker and the backlight will reduce your battery life. But I kinda miss the battery life of my @migo, it was great. Then I had two extra batteries, so when it did run out, I was still set.

The HP 56x series is claimed to have a 14 hour battery life. With the extended battery pack it's claimed to livew for 25 hours, though. As Matt said though, there are many mitigating factors that determine the battery life.

Some things that can affect life:
- using CF cards
- PC Cards
- MMC/SD cards
- Wireless Cards
- running any media player
- running backlight
- running OBEX (always searching for incoming IR requests)

Mitigating factors? I must need a new dictionary. None of the words you use mean what you use them for in context according to my current dictionary.

I believe I meant to use "aggravating factors", thank you for the correction.

Also, Moose, please advise me as to my previous infractions of the English language. I would be much obliged.

As a side note, I believe I listened to too much Bad Religion in my formative years which instilled a larger vocabulary than I should be alloted.
