Hi
I have a Problem with my new Ipaq 3850.
If I play games like PocketDoom or PocketQuake . the screen is very dark! (not the backlight, the games itself) is there a option to increase brightness? the backlight is on max.

You can increase the contrast of the OS in the same place in Settings that you can change the backlight level, or by holding in the action button and pushing up/down. But there are gamma and brightness settings within the games themselves, check the options within PocketQuake or try pushing one of the Functions keys, like F11 within PocketDoom. I'm not sure which function it is for PocketDoom, but it's either F11 or F8 if my memory serves me.

PDAMensch? Did you try pushing the F8 key in Jimmy's Doom4CE? I think that's the gamma key to up the brightness.

PDAMensch, go to and look on the bottom of the Doom4CE webpage for the Doom4CE forums link. Click on the link and search through those forums. There is alot of information in those. One I personally spent a half-hour looking for in those forums was how to jump/run in Doom 2, as you have to jump/run to play the game. It turns out you have to push the on-screen up arrow button in and then you can run/jump. Good luck -TechMage
