NEC MobilePro 300

It looks like <a href="http://www.handheldcanada.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=SFNT&Store_Code=H&Affiliate=pocketmatrix">Handheld Canada</a> has finally received the MobilePro 300 from NEC. This looks like a very nice device.<!>

* StrongARM 206mhz
* PPC 2002
* 32mb RAM (+ 32SD card included)
* SD and CFII slot
* 16-bit Colour Screen

I'm really looking forward to receiving mine. (I ordered it like two months ago

).

It's also got a PC Card Type II sleeve available. I actually like that one a lot.

200 bucks for a EM-500! Wow, thats the same price as a Casio BE-300 Pocket Manager. For someone who wants a PPC, but does not have much cash, thats a great deal.

RwGast, how long until the XScales come out?
I'm thinking about selling my computer and running a laptop only. I've kind of grown out of the "upgrade to latest and greatest all the time" phase, and laptops are just as fast, if not faster than my current computer. Plus they're portable. My full tower, 21" monitor, 5.1 speakers just get in the way. Anyone want a 1.3GHz AMD with Geforce3, 21" monitor, watercooled to perfection?
