Here's my problem. Using the connection sharing through activesync; I use the File Explorer network browser and type in \\miss-anthrope\temp (for example). It denies me access everytime, it is a Win2k machine. So what do I need to do to give myself access to fileshares on my local network? Where do I modify those preferences?

I have a feeling I set a default login, but I can't find anyway to undo that.

Any suggestions RIC or Dan?

If you are doing this at home, you may need to install File and Print sharing and share a folder. Then you can use network neighborhood or my network places to see what hosts are available on your network. Use that hostname.

Clicking on the hostname you should see a listing of all shared folders. Make sure you have NetBeui installed on the computer too.
