I found a case that has a built in port. You can use the ipaq while still in the case because the cable is wired into the case and comes out of the case to a 9pin. This elimatates the need for nulmodem adapters. They also have a small window case to use with other Pocket PC's To see the cases visit www.PocketGoods.com They also have cables that connect the ipaq to Garmin Etrex or other Garmin GPS.

Very subtle advert. But i wouldn't be seen dead with a case that made my hi-tech PPC look like fisher-price lunchbox. They also look stupidly home-made, the windows have been cut quickly and aren't straight, as i can see in the first picture.

I am just suprised that fit that entire cable inside the case while still keeping that small form factor.

This thing seems to be a mutilated , which entirely destroys the purpose of this kind of box.

Normally they're crush proof and watertight, which was the reason for me to buy an original one. It's very useful sometimes, since you don't have to care about the device inside. I don't want to see my hi-tech PPC drowning in coffee or being crushed by books when it's in my rucksack.
