The version is tested on iPAQ remotely (i don't have one, so i don't know how it really works, i just know that it works in some ways). I waill build a new version without timer syncro and waits... do you want to test it (i can send it to you personally).
The rendering is raycaster with fixed comlumns rendering (Z) of the walls and different for floor/ceiling. This is also the answer of T1's question - it's ortogonal walls only :(
Everything is fixed math and tables with precalculating values of trigonometric functions, divides etc.
Also for T1 : the controls are stylus only or keyboard only. The game was first designed for Casio PocketViewer (which runs 20MHz V30 CPU, the version is here :
http://gargagames.com/uq.htm ) which doesn't have keyboard (only stylus and jog-dial like control for paging). This controls was moved to PocketPC version in case the pocketpc doesn't have enough keys or can't handle many key presses in same time.
Monsters maybe are too slow, because the game doesn't run with normal speed at all :( I will post new version after few hours or day.
