Quick question here I have 4 mp3 remixes at 128 quality with file sizes of 37.2megs, 55.1megs, 58.8megs, and 90.3megs. Now I get both this issues on WMP 8 build 0103, and Pocket Divx .8 & .8d. This iPAQ has been updated to PPC 2002 SP1 and also the driver upgrade. My issue here is I am not able to successfully fast forward or rweind the mp3's with either program. Is this due to the large file size of the mp3's or a limitation to my program memory?I have allocated 24.96 to the program mem and typically 16-19.46 megs are free when I am trying to do this. I can have Pocket Divx fast forward my Divx movies that range from 155-184megs. I can play this all the way through without them skipping from the middle of one file to the next file in a playlist on both programs.

Thanks in advance for all your help and advice.

Jay

I would say, it's a memory alocation problem. You can always get your IPAQ's onboard memory upgraded to higher than 32 Megs. Here is a link to a company that will do that.

Some devices can be upgraded to 256MB!!!

Also check out their battery upgrades.

I have 32meg ROM and then a 64meg onboard mem. I did take a look at that site, but I think I will wait till I the xscales ppc's come out before I do something drastic like that. Thanks for the feedback.

4:32am here on a sat morning and I am still up, time for some narco-sleep.
