Files when both my PPC and desktop tell me the PPC does not have enough memory, the file is in use, is marked as read only or I do not have authorization to change.

I downloaded a backgammon game that sucks and I am trying to delete it. There are 6 files that just won't come off. Appreciate any help.

Either on your PPC, hold on the file, then select delete, or go to add/remove programs and remove it from there.

It sounds like the files may be in use. Try soft-resetting your device and then delete them.

The soft reset worked!! Thanxs for the help. Now, How can I turn off Dashboard without deleting it?

Yes, It does not show as a running program. I am going to take this subject to a new topic.
