i have it in mov... i'll upload it to the site next week in avi for pocket divx using our new multimedia system that I'm building this weekend... with.... categories! (and divx 5 codec instead of 4)

Project Mayo's OpenDiVX (hence PocketDivx) isn't up to 5.0 yet last I checked, so encoding it into 5 would be useless for PocketPC, unless I'm missing out on something here..

wrong again :)...

PocketDivX 0.8d supports DivX 5.0 except for some of the new features that I won't use while encoding.

I'll try encoding a few sample clips and see how they compare to DivX 4 encodings for Pocket PC.

PocketDivX 0.8d is a "beta" release, but is much more stable that the 0.8 release. I've talked to the developer, and he's OK with me if I push the 0.8d player on the site and require it for my clips. It has many improvements over 0.8 -- especially for MIPS users.

Also, I'm going to begin to encode my clips without pre-rotating them first.

look for the "Pam's new look" thread. I think the third or fourth thread... or just go to http://www.stuffmagazine.com or whatever the "Stuff for Men Magazine" website is.
