I'm going to buy an iPAQ... And I just want to know what are the most important differencies between Pocket PC 2002 and Windows CE 3.0, and could I update the win3.0 [on H3630] to ppc2002?

Pocket PC 2000 and Pocket PC 2002 both run Windows CE 3.0. "Pocket PC" is a shell that runs on top of the CE 3.0 OS. It contains things like the SIP, the TaskBar at the top, the today screen, and the pre-packages apps like Pocket Word, Excel, IE, etc. So there are some enhancements to those superficial things, but the underlying OS is actually the same.

Nope. You have to get the ROM update from Compaq, so its not like upgrading Windows on your PC. But it can be done, and I haven't heard of any major problems. I still have PPC 2000 on my iPaq, but I guess I'll upgrade eventually.
