42000 rpm is _really_ fast 8O

hehe, that should be 4.200 rpm ofcourse. I wonder what it will cost... and of course what it does to your batteries, well i know it will drain them... but how fast? :)

=)

Well if you have an IPaq you can get the new pc card pack that has a second battery built in that will greatly imporve the battery power. I would guess good enough to listen to alot of music or watch a movie or 2 off of it.

Even a damn small 340GB IBM MicroDrive drains a laptop's battery quickly. Just imagine what happens if you increase the size and rpm of the drive even with an extra battery...a full movie will not be possible. [/u]

no it doesn't

That is like when you are typing in Pocket Word and the processor is running at 5-10% and the screen is at 1/3 brightness. A movie with processor running 100% is tantamount to 2-3 hours at most. Snails on SH3 is about 80%, so don't be fooled.

4,200 RPMS. One too many zeros. 42000 is faster than any car's engine! That HD would shoot off into the air faster than a jet airplane.
