Actually, Conduits, the makers of Peacemaker & Pocket Slides, was one of the first to port Doom to the PPC, more specifically the Casio E-10x series.
Conduits did a lot of tech 'demos' back in the days when the devices were originally called PalmPCs.
They ported CoPilot, the Palm emulator, and was the first to port Emu48, an HP48SX/GX emulator.
They also created Clarity, a LCD anti-aliasing demonstration program, long before Microsoft came out with their ClearType.
They also created Pocket Spark, the first Macromedia Flash player, and also created one of the first task switcher programs for the PPC.
