Project....Dead...ending...transmission...

Seriously. Yes they did port Hexen and Heretic for all PPC platforms (making them heros in my book), but they said they would port Doom way back in July 2001! So I doubt they still are making it.

There is one more port of Doom for Windows CE (other than Rob's) that alot of people don't know about. It's called Doom CE (not Jimmy's Doom4CE). Here is a link to it.
It's only avalible for SH3 and MIPS though, and I could never get it to work. It runs on HPCs and PsPCs, so it should run on a Pocket PC, as all software for PsPC runs on Pocket PCs.

They're good, but a bit dark on my iPaq 3835. They remind me of Doom4CE without the keyboard bugs

Just for the record, I was aware of the original Doom CE but it was always a non-player. It was never taken beyond an original release and was never even close to the quality of the first release of Doom4CE (JimmyDoom).

Actually, Conduits, the makers of Peacemaker & Pocket Slides, was one of the first to port Doom to the PPC, more specifically the Casio E-10x series.

Conduits did a lot of tech 'demos' back in the days when the devices were originally called PalmPCs.

They ported CoPilot, the Palm emulator, and was the first to port Emu48, an HP48SX/GX emulator.

They also created Clarity, a LCD anti-aliasing demonstration program, long before Microsoft came out with their ClearType.

They also created Pocket Spark, the first Macromedia Flash player, and also created one of the first task switcher programs for the PPC.

As a followup to JustJoe's comment above:
Conduits' Doom port is still listed at www.conduits.com as Pocket Doom 1.0 Beta, but, again, it's very limited and is unlikely to work on a lot of, even, first-generation PPCs.

Yeah, I played like at least 2 different ports of DOOM on my e105, let alone my e115. I'll look for all of them that I can find...
Die, Palm, Die. If that offended you, then get rid of your Palm OS device.
