Please a little help here. I'm new to this forum and believe perhaps someone here may be able to help me. After my daughter destroyed my Casio e 125 I deceided to upgrade to the E 200. I haven't had any of the problems that the earlier versions have and have been happy with it most of the time. My problem is the joypad. It is unusable. I can't play any action games on it. I finally have enough processor speed to play games and can't control any characters. I Know that Tigerex makes a gamepad controller for the Ipaq. Does a controller like this exist for the casio e 200. If not I think I'm selling my casio. For which one ?????
new to the game please advise.

sorry, I´m not really sure if there is a controller avaliable for the e200, but you can use a third-party keyboard to control games.
THANKS

As far as I know, any standard USB keyboard will work. I have heard the the USB VIK (Virtually Indestructable Keyboard) works well with it. I myself was an e-125 user and broke my screen. (To read about my ordeal go to: )

Well I am still waiting for my new unit to arive. The only other real contender in most people's opinion for gaming is the iPaq 38xx. But it too has problems (Diags. difficult with oval joypad) As you can see by the poll, I took, most people consider the E-200 to be the superior device neway. But if you had to get a new device, my bet is to wait until the 400mhz xscales come out.(PocketLoox will be the 1st I believe) Hopefully, this past generation of PPC's will have been the last to expierence button problems. And the benchmarks on the E-200 surpass all other devices in almost every category. The benchmark speeds are at the bottom of this page.

IMO those benchmark speeds have very little to do with game speed. I own an HP568, iPAQ3765, and E200 and the E200 is the slowest of the three when it comes to games but it has the highest benchmarks in the video categories. Argentum, Snails, Hexacto Tennis, RocketElite run slower on the E200 when compared to the other ARM PDAs. Personally I would take the iPAQ3850 joypad over the junky E200 joypad any day. At least I can go from a diagonal to another direction without suffering from the 'E200 joypad problem'. I do love the E200 screen though. It is the best of all the reflective screens.
Word is the Toshiba E740 should be coming out in a couple weeks. It has the body if the Toshiba E310, which could be good or bad depending on how you feel about the form factor. I tested some games on the E310, and while it suffers the same slow gameplay like the E200 the joypad was pretty good actually and reminded me of the EM500. A little bit. Nothing compares to the EM500, E125 joypad/button arrangement.
