I have been having a lot of trouble since I installed the latest release of the Nimo Codec Pack (which I installed to allow me to have both 5.0 and 4.12 installed at the same time so I can encode PPC movies as well). It actually installed Divx 5.01 which has been causing most of the problems.

Anyways... I encoded several videos in Divx 4.12 the same way I have done many others... and for some reason they don't work. Pocket Divx says they are invalid video files. So I tried 5.0 and the video for that looks fine on the PC, but on the PPC it horrible (artifacts covering the screen, can't even see the picture). So.... is there anything that can be done? Am I just having freak problems with the 4.12 codec? Please let me know i you can help out.

Looks like I was a little anxious to get help...

I re-installed Pocket Divx (from a link to some different version from a previous post) and everything works now with Divx5. Sorry for the poast, maybe it will help someone else out.
