I've got a slight problem with an AVI file... it says that it is an incompatible video format when I try to open it with PocketDivx, but it says that if has incompatible features when I try to load it in PQView! On my computer, I can't run it in DivX, so it's definitely not a divx file. Is there anything I can do or are there any other avi players for ppcs? thanks a lot!

Try opening it in Windows Media Player on the desktop. Look at the file properties to see what codecs it uses. Then try re-encoding it to divx using virtual dub.

For audio, it uses the mp3 codec, but the video codec is "unknown"...

Try to download a codec called AngelPotion, I think, I'm pretty sure. It can decode a ton of formats.

Windows Media Player will not download MOST codecs unless it's made or certified by microsoft, meaning no MPEG4, no DivX, no AngelPotion, ... pretty much only WMA WMV which are already installed.
