serial cable, howto make one?

Does anybody know if it is possible to make one yourself, since unfortunately I can't find any were I live (denmark) and I really need one.
Any guides, datasheets... anything about how to make one whould be apprecieated

Well, I don't know what it is you want exactly, but here is a cool little project:

It modifies a $20 to provide both a male serial port and a female null-modem serial port, as well as USB sync and USB charge-through.

I think it would be cool to make a Serial Modem connection between diffent PPC's.. so you don't have to stand absolutely still to play multiplayer (IR)
my 720 has a serial port built in.. but i don't know if my E-200 does.
If i develop one, i'll post the designs and such. it would be hard to make a connector for PPC's.. because all the connections are on the bottom.
