The e310 pretty much is the Audiovox Maestro.

Go ahead and purchase the E740 which is the Xscale device. It has built in SD and CF slots.

i'd get the 310.. oh yeah i did :) its pretty cool. alot smaller then my casio e125. there is a sound difference between the two but nothing drastic. if you have cf2 stuff then your out of luck other then that i am very pleased. not to mention, costs alot less then the rest.

use to own...

I was thinking about possibly getting either the Audiovox Maestro or the Toshiba 310. The 310 is a little more expensive ($345 at shopharmony.com) but it's thin. But then again, the Audiovox has duel slots (ooh....ahh). How is the battery life of the 310? I heard the Audiovox's battery life isn't that great and I was wondering if the 310's is better.

well... the e310 is cool, and has SDIO, plus much better battery life than the Maestro,... but i dunno when a SDIO WiFi card will be available. Since you want to connect to a network though, get the Toshiba e740, it looks like the e310 but is a little thicker, has INTEGRATED 802.11b, SDIO, CF II, Dual Slot, Great Screen, Cool DPad, and Best of All, it runs at 400MHZ!!!!! its XScale... hehe, its really cool. Everyone is saying that its the Perfect PDA, only problem is, as of now, its not running as fast as it should, which will soon go away, once apps are optimized
