I may be wrong but I think the buz only works for apple G3 prossesors.Is your laptop by apple.
Someone may have ported it but I never could find a port to pc(driver wise).
I was wrong here is some info
Just need MGI videowave SE+ looks like it has rca +svideo jacks.
Do you have a com port (looks like a phone jack connector on the back)My dds reciever has one that a digital out.

i looked on the back. its got two scarts, two audios (left and right), a modem port and the rs232 com port - i have no idea what thats for, maybe external devices that they might make in the future?

Found it!!! That list alot of the analoge to dv. The product that I have is the Sony DVMC-DA2. I don't know if it is true if it is really discountinued. But all n' all, The dazzle might be also a good product. All I know is that the Sony was the best cause the coversion was done hardware, and all your computer do is capture. The through put on it was something like 3mb consistent in. So that was why people recommended a 7200 rpm drive.
