HP Jornada

I have an HP Jornada 545 and a Hawking Technologies 10/100 CF card. I cannot get support from HP or Hawking, I setup and configure the CF card ip addresses etc, from the HP545 I can ping itself but cannot see the outside world !. I have tested the connection and ip address from a laptop and that works fine.
Does anybody have any ideas before I throw the both in trash !!.

You open the EXE you download on your computer not on your Jornada.

Or you download CAB files. You can't install things directly from your PocketPC, it has to install through ActiveSync.

When I synched with my laptop a couple of months ago, it somehow corrupted my ppc and I got similar error messages. I had to hard reset it. Eventually I also had to reinstall windows on my laptop, but thats another story.
