Omnisolve help

Omnisolve says it has some keyboard shortcuts and stuff, but nothing I type in with the keyboard shows up in Omnisolve. I kinda need to use this so I can input fractions more easily. Instead of typing in the numbers with the keypad I tried the keyboard, but nothing happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
