Yes, it is very likely that an upgrade to WindowsCE.NET will be provided by the manufacturer of your device. However, you might have to pay them a small fee to have them ship the CD with the upgrade on it to you. Compaq provided an upgrade for the older iPaqs to upgrade them from PocketPC to PocketPC2002 OS versions, I am confident that they will do the same again.

I think I'll just stick with Mobile 2000. It supports the older games AND PPC2002 games! So I'm good.
