stumbled onto this website. whoa.. wealth of info. looks like i am gonna up late be reading tonight.
one question that I have though.. is the SD port on Toshiba E740s SDIO or just normal SD?
In addition, what sort of options are there for SD or SDIO?
Also, is SDIO backwards compatbile?
Edit: oops.. one more thing: Toshiba's e740, it doesn't have the transflex screen, does it?

An answer to your last question:
It doesn't have transflective, only reflective. Some say reflective is better outside, and im not arguing

SD is memory only. SDIO is still new, there's a bluetooth card coming out for it. Don't know what you mean by backward compatible, its still an SD slot. I'm almost definately sure that the Toshiba has SDIO.

next question: :D
let's say i do have such a setup. basically i am looking at the following pieces:
a toshiba e740
a bluetooth sd i/o card
a sony/ericcson t68i cellphone
now i know i can connect online to use the "mobile wireless web" with the cellphone alone. can i use that feature to connect to the web on the toshiba pda? or do i still have to have some sort of dialup service from say.. earthlink (or someone else) and the cellphone serves as a normal modem?
i know that at&t has started offering the GPRS service with various "data packages" called mMode data add-on packages along with their GSM/GPRS calling plans. can i use that with this setup?
i am really hoping that the former is the case.. :)
thanks a bunch for the info so far, i have yet to find things like this online.
