Hard reset
Posted: Feb 4, 2003 @ 7:49pmeeek how long is a hard reset on my 3850 meant to take?? its been on the red compaq screen for about 20 mins now and nothing has happend?? !

1. press and hold the calendar and the itask buttons
2. press and hold the reset button using the stylus
3. [about 5 seconds of waiting]
4. release the calendar and the itask buttons
5. release the reset button

Posted: Feb 7, 2003 @ 7:40pmwhoohoo i think i cracked it, i got my mate to help press all the buttons, u need to have two pairs of hands to press all the buttons at same time, I guess i just wasnt pressing them enough when i tried by myself :). Thanks for the help guys
